Jetpur is considered as one of the most wealthy and prosperous cities in this area. On 14th December, 1970 a new path of education was paved in this city. With the inspiration of shri Rev. Dongreji Maharaj, Shri Jetpur Kelavni Mandal Trust was established.
With the blessings of Rev. Shri Dongreji Maharaj, Shri Gordhandas Karsanji Bosamia arranged for Shrimad Bagwat Saptah and became the chief donor of this organization. He also managed for big donation amount collected by different donours. With his efforts, on 1st June-1972, Shri G. K. and C. K. Bosamia Arts and Commerce college was established.
Growing from the small seed, it has today become a big bushy tree. It has been providing education to Jetpur and other rural areas around the city. In future also, it will go on developing. There is no doubt about it.
The trust provided vast area and a grand building with different facilities that are necessory and appropriate for an educational institute. Many people received education and carved out career themselves from this college.
This is the oldest college of the city of Jetpur which is famous for its textile printing and dyeing industries.
Various courses ranging from B.A., B.Com., B.B.A., B.C.A. P.G.D.C.A. and MSc.IT & CA to P.hD. are offered in the college.
The course of Home Science is also offered to the female students, So that they may live a better and more fruitful life.
Computer is taught independently as a subject in B.Com and M.Com.
